End-User License Agreement
Effective October 14, 2026
This End-User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a binding contract between you, either individually or on behalf of the entity you represent (“you”), and Polygon Automation (“Polygon Automation”, “we” or “us”), governing your use of the Polygon Automation application and related services (the “Service”). By connecting a QuickBooks Online company to the Service or otherwise using the Service, you accept this Agreement. If you do not accept it, do not use the Service.
1. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes during the term of this Agreement.
2. Scope of access to your QuickBooks data
The Service connects to Intuit QuickBooks Online using OAuth 2.0. Authorization is granted by you inside QuickBooks, and we never receive or store your Intuit credentials.
- The Service performs read operations only. It does not create, modify, void or delete any record in your QuickBooks company.
- Intuit does not publish a read-only accounting scope. The
com.intuit.quickbooks.accountingscope we request technically permits writes, but the Service is built to issue retrieval requests only. - You may revoke access at any time from within QuickBooks Online or by using the disconnect control in the Service.
3. Your responsibilities
- You represent that you are authorized to connect the QuickBooks company you select and to permit us to access its data.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your Polygon Automation environment, credentials and API keys secure.
- You will not use the Service unlawfully, attempt to circumvent its security, or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
4. Ownership
We retain all right, title and interest in the Service, including all software, interfaces and documentation. You retain all right, title and interest in your QuickBooks data. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of either.
5. Third-party services
The Service depends on Intuit’s QuickBooks Online APIs. Your use of QuickBooks is governed by your agreement with Intuit, and we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or performance of Intuit’s services.
6. No accounting or tax advice
The Service displays information read from your accounting system. It does not provide accounting, auditing, tax, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for review by a qualified professional. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your books and filings.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free or that data displayed will be complete or accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising out of or relating to this Agreement. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
9. Term and termination
This Agreement begins when you first use the Service and continues until terminated. You may terminate at any time by disconnecting your QuickBooks company and discontinuing use. We may suspend or terminate the Service, in whole or in part, if you materially breach this Agreement. On termination, the license in Section 1 ends and we delete stored OAuth tokens as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
11. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
