Frequently asked questions
- How do I connect my QuickBooks company?
- Select Connect QuickBooks in the header. You will be sent to Intuit to sign in and choose the company you want to share. After you approve, you are returned here and your data appears on the dashboard.
- Can Polygon Automation change my books?
- No. The application only issues read requests to the QuickBooks Accounting API. It never creates, edits, voids or deletes a record.
- How do I disconnect?
- Use the Disconnect button on the dashboard, or go to Apps then My Apps inside QuickBooks Online. Disconnecting revokes our token with Intuit and deletes it from our storage.
- Why does my connection need to be renewed?
- Intuit access tokens last one hour and refresh tokens last about 100 days. We refresh automatically in the background. If a company sits unused past the refresh window, simply reconnect.
